A six-foot tall blond Finn dressed in Finnish Defense Forces general issue gear, Mikko is one of the few mercs who has been around since the first days of the outbreak. At one time referring to himself as "the Shiv" because of his one-time preference to use blades rather guns, Mikko has now settled down and runs his own bar, the Stella Polaris Club, in Piedmont. As part of that gig, he is also the Captain of the Northern Star Company.

As a Finn, Mikko values friendship over all else, and would do anything to avoid insulting his friends, even unintentionally. Because of conflicting commitments and the lack of time, this cannot always be avoided. On the flipside, Mikko is also brutally honest and does not hesitate to voice his opinion if somebody manages to piss him off.

Can usually be found either at the Stella Polaris Club (making moonshine) or at the Honey Badger (for dinner and moonshine deliveries) in Piedmont.
