Patrols
A patrol is checking certain buildings on the map for barricade strength.
There are 3 main patrol types:
- 1) Full: Every building in the map is checked for 'cades.
- 2) Standard: Every PD and Fort on the map is checked for 'cades.
- 3) Standard Plus: Every resources building (PDs, Forts, Hospitals) are checked for 'cades.
Use this format:
(date) (time, state your timezone) (patrol type #) (coordinates of buildings fixed, or "all 'caded")
An example:
3/12/06 / 9:37 P.M. (EST) / #3 / all 'caded / (this is not a real patrol)
Patrols are broadcast on channel 01 of the radio and logged in our forums.
A little history on patrols:
A while ago, a fellow named Jack Moo came from the game Urban Dead to Outbreak. After finding he could not player kill directly without getting a bounty, he decided to do something new. He would destroy a buildings barricades. Within a few hours, all the inhabitants would be killed by demons.
Although he was banned, he left a legacy other greifers followed. Several other players did this, so Fire Teams had to keep constant vigilance to save the lives of unsuspecting mercs.
Today, these greifers are almost non-existant. But we keep patroling, as a service to the city and new players, in case of such greifer acts.
FAQ
We pledge to mantain and update the FAQ with new game additions, data, and more. We do experiments on game data, and test all methods of game play. Write in the FAQ guest book for ideas, if it suits you.
Grafitti
Shadowslasher Incorporated sprays tips for new players, and links to the FAQ, on buildings. These buildings either had nothing important on them or dreadfully annoying and crude paintings. An occasional advertisement for Shadowslasher Incorporated can be found, but they are few and far between.

As often as we can, we broadcast a tip of the day. An archive of these tips can be found on the official websites.
Outposts
Shadowslasher Inc. provides for the community. As such, one of our duties is to guard the populace. The Marquette Police Station at 20°S, 20°E and the 23rd Street Police Station at 18°S, 19°E are official Shadowslasher Incorporated Outpost.These buildings will be barricaded and the human inhabitants kept safe.
