Before the Covenant forces were beaten, they opened several portals from their world into ours. Now, their soldiers swarm into five of Earth's cities, necessitating the Spartans. Created as a last-resort measure to control the Covenant invasion, these genetically altered supersoldiers follow their commanding officer into the most dangerous places. Message to Visitors
Most mercenaries have forgotten our original mission: to secure buildings and contain the outbreak. Instead, mercs barricade themselve in handy supply depots, emerging only to impress each other with their kill counts. Slaying demons in the streets is not our ultimate purpose- making every building a safehouse is. Starting mercs find themselves in a city full of buildings that they can only make marginally safe, at best. The Spartans want every building to be safe from the demon hordes. Join us, and help work towards this goal.
Strategy
Starting from our HQ, we will begin patrolling the surrounding areas, starting with helipads and supply centers. For now, we are still recruiting from Piedmont. Interested mercenaries are to contact Amber Karin Fort Wernli at 15,16, Hell's Gate City.
Missions
Security Detail- Spartans are patrolling the city of Hell's Gate City to secure helipads. Step 1: Clear any demons out of the building. If a portal has been created, move to step two. Step 2: Barricade the building to at least Extremely Heavily. If there is a demon portal, note it on the wiki map and move on. Step 3: Spray a message on the inside directing newcomers to our HQ.
All non-commercial and non-residential buildings should be checked. Hospitals are high-profile targets, and all military forts have helipads, so watch for those.

3/27/09 Leadership is transferred to Spartan-071
3/17/09 Spartans are advised to check inside all buildings they pass by, and to kill any demons they find inside.
3/2/09 The Radio Outreach Project, an effort at Spartan community support, has begun. Broadcasts are every 9AM and 5PM UTC-8.
2/25/09 A new HQ has been set up at Fort Wernli, 15,16 in Hell's Gate City. Two supply depots are located at 16,17 and 15,17, so there should be no problem there.
2/23/09 The team is starting over. Recruitment has begun.
12/7/07 On the Discussion page a major update has been issued.
12/3/07 Luster Hospital at 21,5 in Hell's Gate is our new Secondary Center of Operations.
10/10/07 Recruitment is our top priority. We seek to expand our ranks.

You must be online on a regular basis, or if you plan to go on leave, you must let me know.
Recommendations
Intermediate Urban Fortification, Intermediate Light Weapons, Basic Knife Fighting. Also a Machinegun or Assault Rifle (available for 100 and 250 credits respectively at any Supply Depot in Hell's Gate City), Knife, Pistol, Shotgun.

Note: TO achieve the rank of Petty Officer, you must have Middleweight Bodybuilding and Advanced Light Weapons.
To achieve the rank of Master Chief, you must have Heavyweight Bodybuilding and either Dual Wielding or Advanced Urban Fortification. Additionally, the rank of Master Chief can be given as an award for outstanding service.
All Supersoldiers are required to default their radio to Channel 01. In accordance with the Radio Outreach Project, 9-9:30 AM and 5-5:30 PM UTC-8 are broadcast hours and non-emergency radio chatter is forbidden.
