Hell's Gate Police Department

At the onslaught of the Outbreak the HGPD was caught off guard while it was dealing with a local gang war...most of the Departments Officer's were either already dead or killed in the attack.

Command Structure

• Commissioner- The Commissioner is overall in charge of the HGPD.

• Major- Majors are in charge of Precincts, usually in command of one or two captains they're main job is act autonomously when no Department wide operations are taking place.

• Captain- Captains are in charge of sectors and usually 3-5 Patrolmen

• Patrolman- These are the cream of the crop, the bread and butter, the life blood of the HGPD, with out them...the HGPD is an ineffective Department. There are three Sub-Ranks.
  • Sergeant- A Sergeant's main job is to lead his/her Patrol.
  • Corporal- A Corporal is an adviser and if neccessary a back up to a Sergeant if he/she is not present or downed.
  • Patrolman- This is your basic Officer fresh out of the academy in Piedmont City, this doesn't mean they aren't important.
