I Am Rule

I am Deville Rule. The Founder and Captain of The D.V Cliq and Founder and Captain of The Rule Family. Also the creator of The Outbreak Olympics.

That Dreaded Day

Before the events of the outbreak -

Raised in a ghetto, Brought up with only pain as a friend. A up-bringing that toughen me up, yet didnt didnt take the humanity from me. Life was going great until that dreaded day, When the cars stopped passing and no birds filled the sky, The day they came.... The day the Demons came....

.....That Dreaded Day.

Early Mercenary Life

Life in the outbreak begins -

After wandering the city of Piedmont aimlessly, taking pot-shots at random demons and generally getting myself into trouble, i ran into a merc named Killa V. She was a veteran of the 'outbreak' and helped me by giving me items and credits to speed up my training. When i got into trouble i just shouted on the radio and she came with med-kits and ammo for me. She was the master, and i was her apprentice. I will always appreicate the help Killa V gave me, truly. A few other mercs gave me a lot of help in my early days, many more that i do not remember. But the biggest help came from a mercenary who still to this day has my back - Jack Straw. Super Straw always seems to be there to help out myself and now that i'm a captain, The D.V Cliq too.

Thanks for everything V, and thanks for everything Jack.

Taking 'Leave'

After three months of service -

After a couple of months of 'service', i took 'leave' from fighting the outbreak. For numerous reasons, but i returned to the fight in November of 2007.

Forming The D.V Cliq

A month after returning to the Outbreak -

After not finding a fireteam that i really cliqed with (Excuse the pun), I decided to form my own. You can read our wiki page - The D.V Cliq, And read about The History of The D.V Cliq. I have made many great friends and some who are harmful to my health, not mentioning any names.......

The D.V Cliq Era

Reaching the top of the mountain, and making my way back down -

During the cliq's six month+ run, we achieved a hell of a lot. Many events including the first ever Outbreak Olympics, An idea of mine brought to life with the help of Alandra, Jack Straw and Prulleman. During this time i was captain of the best team in the game, and felt as though i had become one of the main event players in the entire game. We made our stamp on the history of the outbreak and grew into a group of great friends. After the outbreak olympics had finished, i found that because of a mixture of being a little burned out 'in game' and a decrease in spare RL time led to my deciding to disband the cliq. I needed a break and also did not want to be a part-time captain or to be less effective as i had been during the teams run. I was disbanding with the intention of possibly resurrecting the team at a later date, when Alandra Siali stepped up from Vice-Captain to take charge of the team. It this point i took a little break, popping in every now and again.

The Rule Strikes Back

Climbing the mountain again -

After a short break i returned with the intention of starting a new team, that would be inspired by The D.V Cliq's best days, and that would focus on a 'family' theme. Whereas the cliq was almost made with the purpose of being the greatest team, The Rule Family is not less ambitious but more about just having fun and enjoying what we do. This does not mean that we will not reclaim our throne, just that we shall take our time!

Accepting Defeat

Coming full circle -

The Rule Family started off so well but never took off in the way The Cliq did. Inactivity (myself included) hampered the family and the decision to disband my second team was made. Ive no idea where i go from here, We will see what the future holds.

Return Of The Cliq

Back to the basics -

On 12th of August, i decided to reform The D.V Cliq, starting fresh and aiming to retake our place at the top of OB. Also i hosted the Tag Team Demon Hunt, which was a minor success. Now to get The Cliq back on top...

The New Cliq Order

My time is now -

By mid-december The D.V Cliq's numbers grew back to the kind of numbers we had during our hey-day. The mixture of old vets and new blood has resurected the team. I started a new event called The Fugitive Bounty Hunt, which has been very sucessful! The 'Outbreak' as a whole is starting to slowly become more busy after many months of its most inactive period ever. It seems as though everything is coming full circle.... again....

Mercenary Of The Year

Ruler and King -

January through to April saw OB slowly become more and more active. The month of Febuary bestowed me with the great honour a merc can recieve: The Merc of the Year award, fighting off close competition from ladies Jess*Izzle and Saladanel. Ive also kept a steady stream of events going, whether it being the Rule's Demon Challenges or the ever popular Bounty Hunt Challenge. With the second Outbreak Olympics approaching i'll be looking to add OBO World Champion to my list of achievements...

It's Time, To Say Goodbye

Fade away? -

After a long period of inactivity The D.V Cliq made its final farewell. With my own presence in OB being reduced due to lack of time among other things i ponder the possibility of semi-retirement. I decide not to announce this train of thought because, as all OB vets know = You always come back!

Rule Solo

A crazy old hermit? -

After much deliberation i decide to go solo. With the thought of creating a new team in the future a possibility i decide to use my time away from The Cliq era to enjoy the freedom of not running a team. Expect a long beard and ecentric behavior!

Cliq Everlasting

Destiny...

It was bound to happen, and happen it did. The D.V Cliq was ressurected once again. This happened during the great outbreak depression, where activity has been rare. A few things have happened in these months of quiet. The Outbreak Olympics 2, the last hurrah of activity ended with me narrowly missing out on the OBO World Title, eventually having to settle for the Runner-Up Spot. After this event OB fell into a great silence, and continues to do so...
