PiedmontClass 5 Outbreak

Historically known as the site of the first demon outbreak, Piedmont has seen its demons mostly contained and suppressed thanks to the efforts of countless mercenaries. Piedmont is a fairly small city, had wide, clean streets, a robust business district, and a population that numbered around 200,000 people prior to the arrival of the demons. Now it is a ghost town, the streets filled with burned vehicles and the decaying corpses of both demons and people. The demon presence in the city is relatively minor, and many mercenaries call it home due to the low danger level. Piedmont has a city-wide system of sewers.

Hell's GateClass 4 Outbreak

Hell's Gate was aptly named even before the demons arrived. A dirty, rundown slice of the downtown metropolis, Hell's Gate is filled with crime, poverty, and crumbling tenement buildings. Add a very large outbreak of demons to the mix, and the city has become a literal war zone. Prostitution, gambling, drug dealing, and gangs have all reached a kind of uneasy truce with the demons that fill the city, leaving everyone free to continue the wholesale slaughter of demons and people alike. Hell's Gate is an urban sprawl that is extraordinarily dangerous for everyone involved, no matter what side of the crumbling law you're on.

Los AndresClass 3 Outbreak

Straddling a long stretch of the waterfront, Los Andres is a tightly packed metropolis and one of the few places that the demons failed to establish a solid hold over. With an overwhelming gang presence, completely crooked police force, and where the average city dweller would just as soon shoot you as look at you, the demons were greeted with spirited resistance once it became clear their presence posed a threat to the continued cycle of drugs and violence in the city. Crime continues unabated, gunfire fills the nighttime hours, and demon corpses continue to pile up in the streets and alleys.

San FarrucoClass 2 Outbreak

With its cold weather, frequent fog, steep hills, and surrounded on three sides by ocean, San Farruco is an usual and exotic city. Literally every available plot of ground has been built on, with quaint Victorian buildings marching up hills against a background of towering buildings in the downtown district. Now, its bridges blown by retreating troops, the demons hold the city firmly in their grasp. Few people remain in the city, and those that do spend their days in terror, scrounging for food in the twilight hours as deadly shapes loom large in the fog.

NachtstadtClass 1 Outbreak

An otherwise nondescript locale, the city of Nachtstadt is reputed to conceal a mysterious artifact known only as The Engine of God. With the demons seemingly intent on finding and possessing this object, and the company pouring resources and mercenaries into the city in an effort at securing it first, Nachtstadt has truly become the site of a modern-day Armageddon. Vast swathes of the city have been razed to the ground, fighting rages from building to building night and day, and it is believed that it was here that low-yield nuclear devices were first employed against the demonic forces.
