Special Features
- At helipads, buildings marked with the H icon, mercenaries can request flights to any cities for which they have a helipass. Helicopters arrive at helipads every 9 minutes, and the flight takes 3 minutes. The destination helipad is randomly chosen among those in the destination city.
- If a helipad is overrun by demons, helicopters will no longer land to pick up mercenaries.
- At supply depots, buildings marked with the S icon, mercenaries may purchase armor fragments (.5 credits), bullets (.5 credits), shells (1 credit), medkits (5 credits), resurrection syringes (10 credits), and class 5 helipasses (100 credits). Also, for the price of one rock, a mercenary can also purchase the item of the month.
- If a supply depot is overrun by demons, the Company will be forced to discontinue its supply to the center. A new center will be established somewhere else in the city.
- At training centers, buildings marked with the T icon, mercenaries can learn new skills.
- If a training center is overrun by demons, the Company will be forced to discontinue its training at that location. A new center will be established somewhere else in the city.
- Property, a building marked with a For Sale sign, is purchasable by mercenaries and falls into one of two categories. Either it is an apartment complex, one unit of which can be purchased in exchange for 1 rock, or it is a home, in which case the entire building can be purchased for 2 rocks. Advantages to owning a home include increased inventory space and bragging rights. Only residential buildings can be property.
- Demonic portals, buildings marked with a red circle, are entry points for demons. The destination beyond the demon portals is unclear, but it is certain that demons enter cities through and congregate around the portals. A portal can be created in any building left unbarricaded with an active gatekeeper inside. Inside portal buildings, radios do not function normally.
- Sewer-accessible buildings, marked with a down arrow icon, are passages into the underground tunnels of the city. Some means of lighting one's way, such as a flashlight, are necessary to see your surroundings. Large groups of ghouls and a handful of rarer demons have been spotted underneath the city.
